Abide in me,
And I in you.

John 15:4

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.

MOCO Stories

God still does miracles!

During an altar call, the pastor asked anyone who was sick or in pain to stand and for others around them to lay hands on them and pray. I stood because I have celiac disease & POTS which causes constant stomach pain, headaches, migraines, fatigue, and episodes of fainting and seizing. After standing, the women around me began to pray over me, and a leader anointed me with oil. When they finished, I immediately felt the pain in my stomach and head leave. And I felt much more energetic! Since MOCO my pain has been much more manageable, and I have only passed out twice in the 4 months since MOCO compared to passing out almost once a week.

MOCO Story 1

I found peace in God.

In the two weeks leading up to MOCO, I had lost my boyfriend, lost many friends, was failing my classes, and truly felt depressed. I felt like there was no point in living anymore and that no one would miss me. At MOCO, I was able to talk to people who made me realize I wasn't alone or hated. God's presence was so strong there that I broke down during worship. Afterwards, I understood that no person’s presence could bring me as much peace as God’s presence did. I left feeling so much peace, and without the constant panic attacks and stress.

MOCO Story 2

God called me to ministry!

During the conference, I felt this urge to pray over a girl in front of me. I did, and realized that God had given me a gift of prayer. Later that evening, the pastor said that if you feel called to ministry raise your hand so that a leader can pray over you. I felt the same urge to raise my hand that I felt to pray over the girl, so I knew that it was God trying to tell me I was called to ministry. The environment that was created through MOCO allowed me to be open enough so that God was able to communicate my calling to me.
