Go to liftchurch.org and scroll down to find the “One Year Bible Plan” and click the “Bible App” button, OR go to the LiFT Church page in the Bible App to find our featured reading plan.
Click “Start Plan”
The Bible App will automatically set Day 1 of your reading plan to the day you hit “start plan”. Your goal is to hop in with the Pastors, staff and other LiFTers that started January 1st.
In the plan, scroll right to the day 59.
If you are doing this Thursday, February 29th, scroll to day 59.
Doing this Friday? Scroll to day 60!
Adjust to whatever day you are hopping in.
You can reference the PDF to check that you have the right day.
Mark that you completed every reading that day.
Press the 3 dots in the top right corner of your phone screen and press “Catch Me Up”.
A box will pop up on your screen. Press “Shift Dates Forward”.
You are all set. Don’t forget to do that days reading to start strong.
Now your current day is lined up with the pastors, staff and other LiFTers that started at the beginning of the year. Follow along throughout the year and have great conversations about what you’ve been reading.
Hear us out; it’s just water (with a bit of chlorine), but what makes it significant is what you’ve decided in your heart. Baptism is an essential step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. When you take the plunge, you are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection.
Water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, beginning a changed life in Christ, and part of a new family. You don’t need to be perfect; come as you are.
